Semester Course (for students in Grade 8 and Grade 9)
Semester course
A beginners' class for those interested in simple computer programming, block coding, electronic circuitry and digital fabrication through CAD. It is a project-based learning (PBL) course meant to enlighten and encourage those students attracted to working (physically and visually) with computers and the ever-expanding influence and impact they have on our lives and our future. While simple computer programming will be explored, the class will mainly deal with the design and output of prototypes, creations and models using Computer Aided Design and the software and machines available to use - Laser Cutter, 3D Printers, Embroidery and others.
