Vacation Programs

Give your children new opportunities and broaden their horizons outside the school year by joining a ZIS vacation or weekend program.

ZIS offers a wide range of vacation activities during academic breaks. We have STEM camps, gymnastics, soccer, kayaking, fun activities and more.

Design Thinking Summer Camp

Indoor Rock Climbing

Think like a scientist

Sit on Kayaking
  • Week 1 | June 23-27

A week of recreational paddling with sit-on-top kayaks. Learn the basics of paddling with super stable boats on calm water. We will discover spectacular locations in the greater Zurich area such as the Luetzerlau-Island, the Wallensee and the Rhein-falls in Schaffhausen.

Gymnastics Summer Camp is designed for little gymnasts as well as gymnastic competitive team members. This is a great opportunity to learn more about gymnastics, create your own floor or beam routines, and practice Level 3 and 4 elements on the asymmetric bars, balance beam, on the floor and trampoline.

In a hands-on learning environment, we will familiarize ourselves with the fundamental techniques necessary for a creative use of film photography. We will gain the skills necessary to properly shoot, develop, and produce prints using a variety of traditional, historic, and perhaps even experimental darkroom processes in the photographic wet lab.

We also offer weekend programs throughout the year including basketball leagues and STEM Saturdays (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

The ZIS Lions Basketball Mini Leagues let students build basketball skills and understanding of the game while competing. The mini leagues games and practices are open to all students in Grades 4-10.
