Acting and Directing builds on the foundational skills developed in Essential Theatre, deepening students’ understanding of performance through the perspectives of Creator, Designer, Director, and Performer. The course places particular emphasis on developing directorial skills, exploring the actor - audience relationship and the many ways artistic intention can be shaped and communicated. Through collaborative, process - driven work, students refine their creative voice and practical theatre-making techniques. The course culminates in a live performance, where students apply and showcase the skills and insights gained throughout the year.
