This one - year course offers students the opportunity to explore theatre in greater depth through the study of a world theatre tradition, the work of a professional theatre company, a classic play text, and the theories of a recognised theatre practitioner. While grounded in research and critical inquiry, the course is primarily practical in nature, enabling students to deepen their understanding of the four key roles in theatre: Creator, Designer, Director, and Performer.
Note: This course runs concurrently with IB Theatre Arts SL/HL.
