Subject Area / Course Credit: elective, 1 credit
Prerequisite: B- or above in AP Seminar or teacher recommendation. College Board requires you to have a passing grade in the AP Seminar exam in order to take this course.
AP Research allows you to further develop the research, argumentation, and presentation skills developed in AP Seminar through more advanced and independent study. You are encouraged to study what interests you while learning advanced research skills. Examples of past student research topics include the popularity of competitive online-gaming, automation in the car industry, and the mistreatment of models in the fashion industry.
