Studying drama immerses students in a dynamic learning environment where creativity, confidence, and communication flourish. Through performance and collaborative ensemble work, students strengthen teamwork, social awareness, and problem-solving abilities. Drama empowers students to explore self expression, take meaningful risks, and develop original ideas - skills that support success both on stage and in everyday life.
Essential Theatre is a practical course designed to give students a solid grounding in performance skills. All units have a focus on voice or movement and build towards combining these skills in a complete performance. Students work with published text as well as creating their own original work. Towards the end of the course students perform for a live audience to apply the skills and techniques acquired during the year
