Freddy MacDonald, Class of 2019, is celebrating the theatrical release of his debut feature, Sew Torn, out this week.
The film began as a short during an independent study at ZIS and has screened at over 20 festivals, helping launch his directing career.
Reflecting on his time at ZIS, Freddy shared, "Sew Torn became pivotal to my career. If not for the support I received at school, it might never have been made. ZIS gave me the space and encouragement to pursue what I loved."
