Mathematics assessments:
- Student learning in each unit is assessed according to clear criteria and our adopted standards, and monitored through summative assessments. Evidence of student learning and unit checklists are shared with parents four times a year.
- At their discretion, teachers may use other benchmark assessments such as the JAM (KG-Grade 2) or GLoSS (Grades 3-5) to get to know a mathematician better.
- In Grades 3-5, we assess students' fluency with basic facts several times a year.
