Semester Course
The Engineering and Automation course is designed to expose students to the concepts in both mechanics and robotics, with activities that combine the two. Students will explore how robots can be built using sensors and actuators and are controlled through a system or brain which can be programmed.
It is designed to provide a real-world immersion into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths and is divided into two halves: VEX EXP robotics and EViE (Electric Vehicle in Education). EViE is a project where students will design, build and be eligible to race a life sized electric car against other international schools in Switzerland.
