At the Beginner level, students communicate using practised and memorized words, short phrases, and simple sentences, often supported by gestures or visuals. They exchange greetings, introduce themselves and others, express basic needs and preferences, and ask and answer simple questions about familiar topics. Students understand high-frequency words and short messages in familiar contexts and produce simple language to describe people, objects, and everyday experiences.
