Learning Support provides personalized assistance and targeted interventions for students who benefit from additional academic guidance and skill development.
Through individualized planning aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or support plan, instruction focuses on strengthening core academic skills while building independence, confidence, and self-advocacy. Students develop strategies for executive functioning, organization, and managing academic responsibilities.
Using evidence-based approaches, Learning Support helps students understand their learning profiles, use tools effectively, and apply skills across subjects. The goal is to support students in becoming confident, capable, and independent learners.
Learning Support may be provided during part of, or in place of, one of the above elective classes. Placements will be confirmed with families before the end of this school year.
