Subject Area/Course Credit: Mathematics, 1 credit
Prerequisite: Passing grade in Integrated Math 2C or teacher recommendation
Integrated Mathematics 3C is a course that assumes students have a solid foundation in algebra and knowledge of the basics of geometry. Operations on functions are reviewed and extended to more sophisticated topics such as exponential and logarithmic functions. Statistics will be studied in depth during this course. Throughout these main topics, an emphasis is placed on communicating mathematics, using technology, and understanding the mathematical concepts behind each new skill. Note: Students who successfully complete this course are able to enroll in Personal Finance or AP Statistics (with teacher recommendation).
