Vacation Programs

Give your children new opportunities and broaden their horizons outside the school year by joining a ZIS vacation or weekend program.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the February Vacation Program due to insufficient registrations.

Please note: If both programs reach 6 participants they will run independently. If one or both programs have fewer than 6 participants, then we will merge them into a single program.

Week 1 & 2: PreSchool to Grade 2 Multi-Activity Camp

Lots of fun and games for all children from EC - Grade 2 (current grades). Our experienced activity leaders have something for everyone - art and crafts, music, dancing, sports, baking, cooking, picnics, trips and much, much more.

Four Mornings: 09:00-12:00 - CHF 220
Four Afternoons: 13:00-16:00 - CHF 220
Four Full Days: 09:00-16:00 - CHF 440 (lunchtime supervision included)

Week 1: Grades 3-5 - Multi-Activity Camp

Our Multi-Activity Camp offers a wide variety of activities from arts and crafts, cooking, sports and free play for students in grades 3–5. Campers will stay active, creative, and engaged as they build skills and form lasting friendships.

Four Mornings: 09:00-12:00 - CHF 220

Week 2: Grades 3-5 - Outdoor Adventure Camp

At Outdoor Adventure Camp, students in grades 3–5 will enjoy team-building games, outdoor exploration, and an introduction to basic survival skills. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Four Full Days: 09:00-16:00 - CHF 440 (lunchtime supervision included)

Studio X: The Design Lab (full day)

Think. Prototype. Launch. Join Studio X, where children will work in teams to tackle engaging design challenges. From the aerodynamics of high-pressure bottle rockets to the mechanics of robots, you’ll spend your week sketching, building, and testing real-world solutions.

Wild Week: Forest, Lake and Trails (mornings)

Explore the outdoors through fun, active adventures. Students will enjoy easy local hikes while learning basic outdoor survival skills, team-building challenges, forest games, water play, lakeside walks, and nature scavenger hunts. Children will also take part in nature art, journaling, and sketching their discoveries.

Soccer Camp (mornings)

The Art of Storytelling (mornings)

In The Art of Storytelling, campers will explore both personal narratives from their own experiences and fictional stories, while also discovering how storytelling is shared across cultures worldwide.

Show in a Week! (full day)

We will put together a little musical theatre piece in a week! We will have fun doing it all from acting, singing, dancing and making our own props, costumes and masks. English main language, and we can do some songs in German too! No acting or singing experience required. The aim is to have fun, try new things and work as a team!

Gymnastics Camp (full day)

Gymnastics Summer Camp is designed for little gymnasts as well as gymnastic competitive team members. This is a great opportunity to learn more about gymnastics, create your own floor or beam routines, and practice Level 3 and 4 elements on the asymmetric bars, balance beam, on the floor and trampoline.

The ZIS Lions Basketball Mini Leagues let students build basketball skills and understanding of the game while competing. The mini leagues games and practices are open to all students in Grades 4-10.
